PROJECT MARE FOR SALE

Lily is a 16.2hh chestnut Warmblood mare. She is 16 years old. Unfortunately due to me going back to work/uni and having my daughter, I won’t have the time for her anymore. Lily does have quirks and is a mareish mare. She’s been out of work for 18 month due to me having my daughter, hence being a project. With me all she has done is hacking, which she loves. Lily doesn’t like to hack alone and her confidence goes but enjoys hacking with another horse. However, she’s a strong, forward ride and with an experienced rider, she can go alone. Lily does love jumping and isn’t for the faint hearted but as she is a project and being sold from the field, she will have to be brought back into it. She thrives on routine with a 1-1 owner, ideally on a small and quiet yard. She does need some turnout during the day in winter. She will stand all day to be groomed/pampered. She is foot perfect for a farrier and is currently barefooted. She does have arthritis in her hocks but this is very mild. Lily also has had an injury on her near, fore which is all healed and doesn’t affect her whatsoever and was sound all throughout the healing journey. She is good to box and travel. Bridle, rugs, passport etc will all come with her This is a heartbreaking sale and I want nothing but the best 5*, experienced home for this horse.
